I find this amusing

A farmer in the UK, Robert Fidler kept concealed among bales of hay down on his farm... a castle. Over the course of two years, he managed to secretly – and unlawfully – build the imposing mock Tudor structure in one of his fields, shielded behind a 40ft stack of hay bales covered by huge tarps. Once it was finished, he and his family moved in and lived there for four years before finally revealing the development. Mr Fidler claims that because the building has been there for four years with no objections, it is no longer illegal. Council planners are unimpressed and are considering knocking the building down. The neighbors are apparently unimpressed as well -- which I think has to be more of a jealously issue. As a neighbor, I would much rather look at that beautiful castle than the 40ft wall of hay. The matter is decided sometime in Feb. and if it doesn't pass -- poor, clever Mr. Fidler is given six months to tear the beautiful castle down.
